At Best Sleep Centre we’ve been selling Restonic mattresses since 1992 and are proud of the quality and the environmentally friendly products that go into our mattresses. Whether it be foam, latex, wood, steel or our flame barrier, we’re always doing something to make sure your mattress will give you the best night’s sleep possible without compromising our environment.

Our Restonic mattresses feature Talalay latex which is produced by Latex International using a blend of natural and synthetic latex, air, and water. No solvents are used in the manufacturing process. Best Sleep Centre also takes great pride in the foam used in our Restonic Mattresses. Restonic’s foam manufacturers have undergone voluntary testing, analysis and certification and meet the CertiPur-US® standard. All CertiPur-US® foam is tested for durability, emissions, content, performance and is environmentally innovative. Here are a number of great requirements that we have met.

It doesn’t stop there either. We’re not just interested in meeting a standard but continually going above and beyond. Our foam is also soy based which means instead of simply using petroleum in the manufacturing process, we are continually working to increase the percentage of soy base used in the manufacturing process thus reducing our dependence on fossil fuels. Many foams are treated with harsh chemicals to prevent them from burning, but instead, Restonic wraps the foam layers inside the mattress with a cellulose product that prevents the flames from reaching the foam. No borax or lye is used in our flame barriers.

Finally, even the wood and steel used to construct our top quality box springs and inner springs keep the environment in mind. All of our wood is grown in Quebec in a sustainable fashion. For every tree cut down, another is planted in its’ place to ensure a sustainable source of wood will always be available. This process is carbon neutral and environmentally friendly. Also, our innerspring units are manufactured using recycled steel. Instead of continually using our earth’s resources, our innerspring manufacturers are working hard to keep old mattress inner springs and other steel materials out of our landfills.
