These very expensive zebrano & primavera wood veneers are the types of woods not affordable if not inlaid Veneers. This is not what most people these days mean by the misused word “veneers”. They are talking about a photograph of wood or wallpaper laid flat on a dresser top made of MDF. We mean the traditional use of the word; very expensive slices of solid wood laid down, “inlaid”, on top of lesser expensive pieces of real solid wood. So as an example Zebrano, Primavera, Wallnut, or Burl 1/16″ or 1/32″ inch thick inlaid on solid Malaysian Oak. The veneers and the other solid woods are fused together so as to never separate. Ask your grandparents, they can tell you this is “buy it once and pass it down” furniture.
