When buying a traditional Murphy wall bed, there are typically three options:
Low-cost melamine kits (we don’t sell these): flimsy construction, poor durability, and not meant to be moved once installed.
Amish-built wall beds (we do sell these): the highest quality, most customizable, and most expensive.
The Monte Carlo : 2-inch Plywood construction on the sides , durable, and priced between melamine kits and Amish. It can be customer installed, though we recommend professional setup
Bottom line: if you want real-wood quality without the top-end Amish price, the Monte Carlo may be the best option.
