When buying a traditional Murphy wall bed, there are typically three options:
Low-cost melamine kits (we don’t sell these): flimsy construction, poor durability, and not meant to be moved once installed.
Amish-built wall beds (we do sell these): the highest quality, most customizable, and most expensive.
The Monte Carlo: 100% real wood construction, durable, and priced between melamine kits and Amish. It can be customer installed (though we recommend professional setup), and—because it’s real wood—it keeps its look over time.
Bottom line: if you want real-wood quality without the top-end Amish price, the Monte Carlo may be the best option.
