SHOP INCREDIBLE
Three things happened to me so far today. I find it quite interesting, so maybe you will too. I’m sitting at De Luca's South Landing eating a delicious gourmet piece of pizza while getting my espresso machine serviced. A larger gentleman, twice my size, who is working outside at - 2 in the wet, fixing our city streets and works hard for his money; is also ordering a piece of pizza. He turns and says to me "I bought a mattress from you 10 years ago and it's still going strong". Nice when the guy twice your size and lifts things for a living gives you such a compliment.
The second thing that happened to me was a very light older lady comes into my store and her bed, originally from us, is now 18 years old and she wants to replace it.
Third thing. I'm sitting at my desk and a lady phones us to complain about the delivery of her electric bed. She asks me how can her new mattress already have a stain on it! I respond, anything made by a human can have problems but send me a photo to info@bestsleepcentre.com and I will look at it and get you fixed up. She pauses for a moment and asks me, is this Sleep Country? I say no, and she hangs up! So...she overspent on them and then calls us for service. Anyway two out of three isn’t bad and the espresso and the pizza from De Luca's new fancy copper oven was delectable.
I’ve been doing this for 30 years next year. We have a Google rating that sits between 4.6 and 4.7. We have many repeat customers and yet still people go into Sleep Country and think they are us. I once had a lady go into the store on St. James ask for me by name the salesman 'deceptively' said I was not there at the time and she proceeded to spend10k. Boy was she mad when she found out she was treated that way.
